Floral Crest School is hosting the Highland Academy Gymnastic Team on April 17 for two performances; 1:45 pm and 5:00 pm. All are invited.

Visitor's Day is April 30 from 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Prekindergarten and kindergarten are invited to attend free of charge. Students bring a sack lunch and plan to have fun. Parents can pick up an information packet at the office that day.

WELCOME TO FLORAL CREST SCHOOL

Our campus is a Christian community of learners dedicated to living like Jesus. FCS seeks to lead our students to desire and commit to Jesus Christ through a deep understanding and love for our creator and Savior, Jesus Christ.    We want our learners to achieve the highest level of academic and creative skills possible.  We believe that by developing habits of life-long learning in their pursuit of physical, mental and spiritual well-being will aid in achieving these high skills.   FCS offers instruction for each grade level from Pre-k through 8^th grade, offering standard academic classes in Religion, language arts, reading, math, handwriting, social studies and science. Additionally, on Wednesday, we offer gardening, music, art, and library.  Computers are in each classroom so every child will be able to have use of one and PE classes and recess are standard curriculum for every grade level.  We also offer High School courses, grades 9-12 through AAA, through the use of remote learning with live teachers via the internet, here at FCS.

FCS students in the elementary and academy participate in assessments and testing using the MAP testing.  Their scores are then linked to the IXL computer program and customized learning skills are created for each student.

Our teachers regularly participate in professional development trainings throughout the school year and summer months. We tested each student to find out their best learning styles through 4Mat and our teachers use a variety of teaching methods to reach the variety of learning styles of the students that make up their classroom.

Accreditation Team Visit:

The accreditation team visited March 21-22, 2023 to evaluate our school. They awarded Floral Crest School a six year accreditation. We are so proud of our teachers who make a program Christ centered and goal oriented. 

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

I am very excited to announce that beginning the school year 2022-2023, Floral Crest School will be able to offer an educational opportunity to grades nine through twelve.  Floral Crest School and Atlanta Adventist Academy have enter into a Partner Campus relationship.  This opportunity is extended for 2023-2024 school year and plan to continue for many years to come.

This partnership means that the educational package has been designed specifically for our school and our students through cutting-edge technology, delivered directly to each student.  This curriculum will meet all the requirements for the North American Division and the students will be instructed by fully certified and highly qualified instructors.  The academy will also supply all the curriculum and textbooks necessary for the classes that each student will be taking.

The instructions are conducted online with an instructor present online at all times.  Students are able to see, hear, and interact with their instructors and classmates at other sites.  The connection uses high-quality video and conferencing equipment broadcasting through the Internet.  Homework is turned in via the Internet or email.

Floral Crest School supplies the coordinator, classroom facilitators to monitor the students, classroom space, and the internet.

Floral Crest School offers grades 9-12 as a satellite campus of Atlanta Adventist Academy that provides TRUeConnect cutting edge technology-enabled education delivered directly to each student, meeting national and Adventist standards. 

TRUeConnect embraces “Real Time” interactive learning for students from many locations, who are joined together through telepresence technology. Students converse and interact with teachers and each other as though they were in the same location. Students connect from their local campus into live video classrooms.  Students can form lasting, meaningful relationships with their teachers and their classmates even though they are miles apart!

Floral Crest School is ACCREDITED through National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). Accreditation from July 1, 2023-June 30, 2029, which is a six year accreditation the highest honor to be earned. The accreditation team was very impressed with our program on March 21-22, 2023 when they visited.
